Theatrical Technician, Technical Director, Designer, and Photographer

In the summer of 2005 I held the Scenic Carpentry Internship with Tri-Arts at the Sharon Playhouse in Sharon, CT.  While working for Tri-Arts I not only helped build their 3 show season, but also ran all three of the shows backstage at night.  For the last show of the season, Annie Get Your Gun, I was asked to take on the responsibility of rigging head- doing all of the pre-show checks for a very rigging heavy show, and the responsibility of fixing all broken props during the run of the show, as the props master had to leave early.  Below are my portfolio pages from my internship.

Forever Plaid and Divas Do Broadway

Forever Plaid was our 2nd show of the season. Divas do Broadway is a fundraiser that Tri-Arts does at the end of the season. We re-used some set pieces (like the "Forever Plaid" portals) and built some smaller things like the signs to get a mainstage quality set for less of a time and monetary bugeting expense.
